Claim Rush FAQ
Quick answers about earning a Cardwiki Claim. Full program details live in the Cardwiki Claim Terms.
What is a Cardwiki Claim?
A permanent, numbered place in CardWiki history — CC#1 through CC#250 — for the first 250 members who help build the open card encyclopedia. Each comes with a one-of-a-kind gem, months of Cardwiki Pro, and a Fame multiplier once polished. Only 250 will ever exist.
How do I earn one?
Complete the mission: reach 1,000 Fame, contribute on 7 separate days, finish the 3 core missions, and get 3 polish tasks approved. Your Claim places automatically the moment you finish. Most dedicated collectors get there in less than two weeks at 15–20 minutes per day.
What's Fame?
CardWiki's contribution points. Adding cards, images, sale comps, and card details all earn Fame — instantly for most submissions, with bonuses when your work is approved. Fame never resets.
What's a polish task?
A contribution that passes moderator review — like an approved card or an approved mining proof. Polish is how we keep the catalog trustworthy.
Do I have to contribute every day in a row?
No. Your Claim only needs contributions on 7 separate days, in any order, so a missed day never sets you back. Days are counted in US Pacific time. Contributing on days in a row earns separate streak bonuses (a 3-day and a 7-day milestone), but those are not required for your Claim.
Which gem will I get?
Gems go by finish order: Blue Diamond for CC#1–25 (24 months Pro, 1.5× Fame), Jadeite for CC#26–100 (12 months Pro, 1.25×), Ruby for CC#101–250 (6 months Pro, 1.1×). Multipliers and Pro months unlock when you polish your gem — 8, 5, or 3 approved polish tasks respectively.
What happens when all 250 Claims are gone?
The 24-hour Final Rush begins. When it ends, standings freeze and the top 50 Claim holders by Fame earn rank badges: Legend (Top 10, $100 credit), Elite (ranks 11–25, $50), Champion (ranks 26–50, $25).
Is the credit real money?
It's account credit toward future CardWiki Pro or On-Demand services — not cash, not transferable, no cash value. It becomes redeemable when billing features launch.
Do referrals count?
Yes. You earn Fame once someone you referred verifies their email and makes their first qualifying contribution, not just for signing up. Your first three qualifying referrals earn 200 Fame each, and every one after that earns 100 Fame. There is no limit on how many people you can refer, and they start with a 100 Fame welcome bonus.
Can I lose my Claim?
Your number and raw gem are permanent once earned. CardWiki only revokes or reassigns in cases of fraud, abuse, or error — and every change is recorded in an audit log.
Is this an investment?
No. Claims are promotional recognition only — no equity, no ownership, no financial interest, and no expectation of profit. See the Cardwiki Claim Terms.
What's public if I participate?
Your username, profile image, and badges. Your contributions to the public catalog are permanent and stay attributed to your username.
